Like tire storage under 1966 Chevy c-10
Hello and thank you for the pictures and diagrams. I don’t know if anyone else cares but I’m in search of a tire mount like the hand drawn diagram and have come to notice the difference between the years. The diagram shows two channel cross supports facing up similar to my 1951 3104. The pictures show a sliding model that allows you to lower the tire and slide it out the back in order to unbolt it from the bracket, handy! But because of the location of the two u channel supports, it won’t fit in the 51’s. I’m not sure what years it does fit in, I believe earlier than 51 because it fits in an old homemade trailer I have with the old style shocks. The early trucks ( before 51) have supports in a slightly different location.
